Cleveland Public Library welcomes award-winning author, publisher, and editor Andrea Davis Pinkney to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Campus for a special celebration of Toni Morrison. This featured event highlights Pinkney’s children’s book, And She Was Loved: Toni Morrison’s Life in Stories, a poetic and artistic tribute to Morrison’s life and legacy.
Through poetry, storytelling, and visual art, Pinkney offers a heartfelt reflection on Toni Morrison as an Ohio native, Nobel Prize winner, and Anisfield-Wolf Book Award recipient. The program invites readers of all ages to celebrate Morrison’s impact on literature and culture, while also reflecting on their own stories and creative voices.
A book signing will follow the program.
