How to Submit a Book
To submit a book for consideration, send five copies with a completed copy of the entry form to:

Upon receipt the books will be forwarded to the jury. All submitted materials become the property of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards and will not be returned.
The deadline for submission is December 31, and the Awards are announced in the spring. Entries arriving after the deadline must be postmarked by December 31 to be eligible.
Only books written in English and published in the preceding calendar year are eligible. Plays and screenplays are not eligible, nor are works in progress. Manuscripts and self-published works are not eligible, and no grants are made for completing or publishing manuscripts. Works of poetry are eligible for the fiction prize.
The Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards does not provide receipt confirmations. Publicity materials should not be included with the entry.
